SUMMARY

As directed by the operations supervisor, the warehouse journalier will package, attach, label, count, and identify wood products using various equipment and manual handling techniques.

Main Tasks

• Operate wood processing equipment on the stacking line.

• Attach, wrap, and occasionally stack wood products by hand.

• Maintain a clean and organized work station.

• Respect all safety rules and regulations at work.

• Respect service commitments to clients.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Able to count and identify wood products of various dimensions.

• Basic math skills.

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds or 23 kilograms.

• Must have own steel-toed boots.

Education

• Secondary education diploma is an asset
