Journalier

AIM is currently looking for a journalier (non-ferrous receiver) for its site AIM Recyclage Drummondville. Under the supervision of the site director, the incumbent will be responsible for general maintenance of the premises. He must also participate in ensuring the good functioning of production, particularly by sorting ferrous and non-ferrous metals. He must work safely and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety guidelines.

What you are responsible for :

• Inspect, sort, and separate different materials, removing all non-recyclable components
• Using a safe and efficient forklift to facilitate the movement of materials within the installation
• Using a front-end loader to receive and discharge materials from clients in a safe manner, including moving materials around the yard
• Aiding in metal processing using cutting, shearing, and shredding equipment to prepare it for further treatment
• Maintaining precise records of inventory and notation using phones or tablets
• Following all directives and protocols for safety, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Keeping work areas clean and organized, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment
• Providing excellent customer service while working with the public
