Job Title

The activity will be carried out on site, being responsible for installing and putting into operation telecommunications equipment specific to fiber optic networks.

Report directly to the Project Manager

Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of telecommunications construction;
• Middle school education in a technical field, higher education represents an advantage;
• Minimum 2 years of experience working on fiber optic networks;
• Experience working with testing and measurement instruments (Spectrum Analyzer, OTDR, Power meter)
• Driving license category B;
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office package usage;
• English language considered an advantage in selection;
• Experience working at heights (Certification represents an advantage);

Responsibilities

• Installing and putting into operation telecommunications systems and equipment;
• Participating in installation work on fiber optic cables, both aerial and underground, according to technical specifications;
• Preliminary preparation of FO cable, joining, and measuring fiber optic cables based on connection diagrams of the network;
• Completing all documentation specific to the job in a precise and timely manner;
• Identifying technical defects through diagnostic testing;
• Maintaining fiber optic networks and intervening in case of failure;
• Investigating and solving customer complaints in a timely manner;
• Coordinating and ensuring support for installation teams on site;
• Respecting quality standards;
• Respecting execution deadlines;

Main Requirements

• Availability to travel 75-95% of the time during professional activity;
• Availability to travel abroad, in EU countries;
• Proactive in resolving execution obstacles, communicating timely with Project Manager;
• Flexibility to perform work outside the main working schedule;
• Communicate efficiently and professionally with project team, internally and externally;
• Oriented towards clients with a professional attitude;
