Job Description

As Domain Lead SAP Finance, you will be responsible for the digital support of financial processes within De Lijn. You will combine in-depth functional expertise with vision, stakeholder management, and leadership. You will proactively think about the needs of the business, translate them into feasible and best-practice solutions, and help ensure that projects and changes are delivered qualitatively, within scope, and on time.

You will make the transition from 'IT as an executor' to 'IT as a partner and advisor'. In doing so, you will focus on standardization, value creation, and limiting custom solutions, so that processes run more efficiently and the organization can grow future-proof.

You will be the go-to contact for everything related to accounting, controlling, reporting, and budget management.

This is a new key role within the organization, with significant impact and room to provide direction. You will have the opportunity to further develop a domain in terms of content, establish a clear roadmap, influence strategic choices, and position IT even more strongly as a valuable partner to the business. You will work across the entire organization and have contact with the business, architects, project managers, suppliers, and your own team.

Your role specifically

  • You will translate finance needs into concrete SAP solutions (FI/CO).
  • You will develop a roadmap around:
  • automation of financial processes
  • integration with other domains
  • real-time reporting
You will optimize processes such as:
  • accounting
  • invoicing
  • controlling
  • investment management
You will strive for more standardization and less custom work. You will monitor projects such as:
  • Optimizations within Finance & Controlling
  • financial reporting & tools
  • integrations with supply chain, asset management, procurement, and HR
  • SAP upgrades
You will be the strategic sparring partner for:
  • finance management
  • controlling teams
  • auditors and stakeholders
  • external suppliers (SAP / partners)
You will manage a team of functional (SAP) experts.

You will ensure that financial processes are performant, transparent, and future-oriented.

Profile

Your profile

  • Strong knowledge and experience of finance processes
  • Several years of experience in SAP FI/CO
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Able to challenge and advise the business
  • Experience with projects and stakeholders
  • Experience in managing a team

  1. Attractive monthly salary: You can count on an attractive monthly salary that is proportional to your diploma, competencies, and relevant work experience. The salary scale is between €6,676 - €8,700 gross.
