Competition 2025-451-CP Job Developer (2025-451-CP) Employment Type: Contract Hourly (until March 31, 2026), Bargaining Unit Work Hours: 35 hours/week (Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:00pm) Work Setting: Exclusively Onsite - 219 Dufferin Street, Toronto Salary: G: $30.33/hr Application Deadline: October 28, 2025 by 11:59 pm Program Overview – Integrated Employment Services, Community Programs The Job Developer, Integrated Employment Services, is part of a high-performance team that improves communities, families and individuals through the delivery of employment services, community programs and partnerships with local organizations. This role will work closely with clients to identify their strengths, skills and interests, and develop personalized job search strategies and action plans. The Job Developer will also collaborate with employers and community partners to create job opportunities and provide support to clients in securing employment. Key responsibilities include: • Conducting intake interviews with clients to gather information about their employment goals and needs; • Developing individualized job search strategies and action plans for clients; • Providing job search coaching, guidance and support to clients; • Building relationships with employers and community partners to create job opportunities and provide support to clients in securing employment; • Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, progress and outcomes; • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of program goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have: • A degree in a related field (e.g., social work, human services, education); • 2-3 years of experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities, youth, seniors, and newcomers; • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Familiarity with employment services and community programs; • Knowledge of local labor market trends and job opportunities. The Job Developer will be required to: • Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines; • Be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances and priorities; • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
