Job description
The necessary expansion of renewable energies leads to volatilities in the energy system and presents, among other things, major challenges for our power grids. This is exactly where Luxera Energy comes in: As a platform for stationary battery storage systems (BESS) - standalone as well as co-located with PV & Wind - we create the necessary flexibility to efficiently integrate renewable energies into the grid, thereby making a decisive contribution to the energy transition.
Our dynamic team of currently 17 employees combines extensive experience from strategy consulting (MBB) as well as the development, financing, construction, and operation of battery storage and renewable energy projects. Our project pipeline currently comprises around 1 GW of advanced battery storage projects, a large part of which we will build and operate ourselves.
We are proceeding at a high pace – in the next 12 months, we will implement at least 200MW of medium and high-voltage projects. For this, we are looking for a Technical Project Manager who will take responsibility from day one and is just as excited about commissioning battery storage systems as we are!
Tasks
- Co-responsibility for the holistic technical implementation of stationary battery storage systems – from the selection of the project-specific ideal components, through the evaluation and commissioning of suitable general contractors for construction, to the management of construction progress and the commissioning of the storage system
- Coordination of external stakeholders, including German and international OEMs, EPCs, direct marketers, etc., and support in monitoring quality and timeline adherence along these partnerships
- Creation of decision-relevant analyses, such as on hardware/software innovations, cost estimations, or make-or-buy evaluations for individual activities and/or trades
- Close coordination with our teams for permitting, grid connection, and finance regarding timelines and technical project details (e.g., layout planning or selection of hardware for grid applications)
- Participation in further company development, for example by improving existing processes and tools, or other initiatives – you shape your topics with us :)
Qualifications
- Great interest in renewable energies, battery storage, and the energy transition in general
- Strong technical knowledge in electrical or energy engineering ****through the completion of a technical degree in the field of energy engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or similar
- (Initial) professional experience in managing the technical implementation of infrastructure projects in the energy sector, e.g., at an EPC, a technical operator, an OEM, a project developer, or a comparable company
- High degree of meticulousness and attention to detail, as well as strong analytical skills
- Entrepreneurial personality with a high degree of initiative and results orientation
- Very good German and English skills in spoken and written word
Benefits
- Responsibility and scope for action: Become an integral part of our team, play an active role in our company from day one
- Insights and impact: You have the opportunity to participate at the forefront of the energy transition in a fast-growing company and to work with the most exciting topics and technologies in the field of renewable energies
- Passionate and cooperative team atmosphere: Learn from and with our team – we rely on flat hierarchies and open and direct communication as well as regular further training opportunities
- Attractive remuneration model with additional benefits: Look forward to our regular team events, Wellpass, and a central workplace in Munich, and the option to participate in the employee stock option program (VSOP)
Are you ready to shape the future of energy with us? Then we look forward to receiving your application with your CV, earliest possible start date, and all other information that helps us get to know you better and understand why you want to join Luxera.
Studies have shown that women only apply for jobs if they believe they meet all the requirements of the job description. We would still like to encourage you to apply, even if you do not meet all of the qualifications we are looking for.
