JNR Product Owner

Product Owner Location: Cape Town Department: Product Management Reports to: Senior Product Manager About the Role We are looking for a Product Owner to join our growing product organisation and help translate product strategy into clear, actionable delivery plans. The Product Owner plays a critical role in bridging business goals with technical execution - ensuring that our development teams build the right features, in the right way, at the right time. You'll collaborate closely with Product Managers, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to define and deliver products that meet customer needs. Key responsibilities include: • Developing product roadmaps and prioritizing features based on business objectives and customer feedback. • Collaborating with development teams to ensure that product requirements are met and that the right features are being built. • Working closely with stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and marketing teams to understand their needs and priorities. • Developing and maintaining product documentation, such as user stories, acceptance criteria, and release notes. • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with product development. Requirements: • 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role. • Strong understanding of product development processes and methodologies. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Experience with Agile project management tools and methodologies is a plus.
