Montsant, charming and historic boutique hotel located in the castle mountain of Xàtiva (Valencia), needs to incorporate a Chef with extensive experience in the sector. Thanks to its magnificent environment and versatile meeting spaces, Montsant is an ideal place for celebrating meetings and social or corporate events, as well as having 25 luxurious rooms. The selected candidate will be responsible for: · Organizing the ranks of waiters/waitresses and their tasks. · Training all staff members in food safety and quality standards. · Ensuring that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned. · Developing and implementing a menu that meets the hotel's gastronomic standards. · Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs. · Maintaining a positive and respectful work environment. · Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless service. The ideal candidate should have: · A degree in Culinary Arts or related field. · At least 5 years of experience as a chef in a similar establishment. · Excellent leadership and communication skills. · Ability to work under pressure and multitask. · Knowledge of food safety and quality standards. · Familiarity with hotel operations and customer service principles.
