Industrial and Environmental Safety Manager

Objective of the position: Implement Industrial and Environmental Safety Systems that allow ensuring compliance with legal requirements, protecting human resources, material, and environment by ensuring follow-up and compliance with applicable legal requirements, as well as ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Main Responsibilities: 1- Coordinate and Ensure Compliance with Legal Requirements giving follow-up to the Compliance Program, 2- Develop and Implement Procedures for the Prevention of Accidents and Incidents, 3- Conduct Risk Assessments and Implement Controls to Mitigate Risks, 4- Monitor and Control Environmental Impacts, 5- Develop and Implement Emergency Response Plans, 6- Ensure Compliance with Regulatory Requirements, 7- Coordinate and Participate in Audits and Inspections, 8- Develop and Implement Corrective Actions, 9- Conduct Training and Awareness Programs for Employees, 10- Maintain Records of Compliance and Performance. Principales Requisitos: 1- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Science or related field, 2- Minimum 5 years of experience in Industrial Safety and Environmental Management, 3- Knowledge of International Labor Organization (ILO) and Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) regulations, 4- Experience with Hazardous Materials Handling and Storage, 5- Familiarity with Environmental Impact Assessments, 6- Ability to work in a team environment, 7- Strong communication and leadership skills.
