Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the production plan, managing the availability of personnel, machinery, equipment, raw materials, and materials necessary for the operation.
• Coordinate the execution of the production process to meet quality, quantity, and delivery time objectives.
• Monitor and manage key production performance indicators, ensuring productivity, quality, resource utilization, safety, and operating costs.
• Make operational adjustments according to resource availability and production schedule needs.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and controls corresponding to the production process.
• Coordinate TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities related to the Production area to contribute to equipment availability and efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives, identifying deviations and establishing corrective actions.
• Participate and lead root cause analyses for process problems or failures.
• Ensure correct documentation and standardization of production parameters and procedures.
• Supervise the proper handling of materials, waste, and surplus, seeking to optimize resource utilization.
• Lead the management and development of Production personnel, ensuring team performance and continuity.
• Efficiently manage resources and budgetary items under their responsibility.

Requirements

• Experience leading production operations within manufacturing companies.
• Experience managing operational teams and personnel.
• Solid knowledge of production planning and execution.
• Experience managing productivity, quality, efficiency, safety, and cost indicators.
• Knowledge of TPM, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis.
• Experience in resource administration and budget tracking.
• Ability to identify operational deviations and make decisions to recover production performance.
• Leadership, planning, and organization.
• Analytical ability and results orientation.
• Skill in developing teams and managing conflicts.
• Effective communication and ability to collaborate with areas such as Planning, Quality, and Maintenance.
