Head of Imports

We are looking for a Head of Imports who wants to assume a strategic role within the supply chain, leading key international operations and ensuring business continuity. This position is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise in foreign trade with business vision, negotiation skills, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Requirements

Degree in International Trade, Commercial Relations, Administration, or related field

Solid experience (3-5 years) leading import operations

Proficiency in customs regulations (NOMs indispensable), tariff classification, Incoterms, and trade agreements

Experience managing customs brokers, forwarders, and international suppliers

Proficiency in VUCEM, SAP, and advanced Excel (Power BI desirable)

Advanced English (ability for international interaction)

Analytical profile, with leadership, results-orientation, and high negotiation skills

Responsibilities

Lead the planning and execution of end-to-end imports, ensuring compliance and efficiency

Optimize logistics costs and dispatch times through negotiation and supplier management

Ensure compliance with customs regulations and internal standards

Coordinate with key business areas to guarantee uninterrupted operational flow

Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies

Drive continuous improvement initiatives with direct impact on results
