We are looking for a high-energy, analytically-minded, and driven financial leader to join a significant and dynamic company in the constantly evolving industrial sector.

This role is not just about maintaining operations; the real challenge is to lead the transformation of a transactional accounting department into a highly analytical and automated area. We are looking for a professional who combines impeccable technical mastery with the ability to inspire, challenge, and develop a team of +5 people.

Your main responsibilities:

• Leadership and Transformation: Supervise, guide, and develop an accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and data analysis.
• Accounting Governance: Control and approve financial accounting operations under local and corporate regulations.
• Business Connection: Translate daily operations into strategic information by designing and tracking key KPIs for decision-making.
• Internal Control and Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls, guaranteeing the reliability and timeliness of financial information.
• Active Involvement: Ability to "get in and out" of operations; understand the team's daily routines in detail to optimize processes and propose improvements.

What profile are we looking for?

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of consolidated experience in the role of Accounting Manager (essential to already have experience in the position, not applicants seeking to make the leap).

Sector: Proven experience in the industrial sector (essential handling of costs and fixed assets/leasing).

Systems and Technology:

• Proficiency in SAP (Essential).
• Advanced Excel.
• Experience in Power BI or other data analysis tools.

Languages: Intermediate English

Key Soft Skills:

• Proactive leadership, with "push" and high capacity to motivate and elevate the team's level.
• Strategic thinking oriented towards the medium and long term (going beyond the daily routine).
• High energy, impeccable organization, and proactivity to work in a demanding environment.
