Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for leading the comprehensive operation of food ingredient warehouses, ensuring their correct reception, storage, preservation, and availability for manufacturing operations, including dry, refrigerated, and frozen products. Manages the cold chain, controls inventories and reconciliations, coordinates operations with Manufacturing and Transportation departments, and will lead the operational team under standards of quality, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Is responsible for the tracking and analysis of warehouse KPIs, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring the fulfillment of operational objectives.

Requirements:

• Completed Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Solid experience in the control and storage of food for dry, refrigerated, and frozen warehouses.
• Experience managing the cold chain.
• Solid experience in large-scale inventory management and control, and generation of reports and work papers.
• Experience in loss reconciliation with transportation and Distribution Center (CEDIS) departments.
• Experience in personnel leadership including control of attendance roles, management of vacations, permits, and overtime.
• Knowledge and rigorous application of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ensuring warehouse cleanliness, washing, and correct management of equipment/ingredients.
• Ability to work and coordinate closely with Manufacturing and Transportation departments.
• Skills in organization, assertive communication, problem-solving, leadership, and results-orientation.
