HEAD OF COSTS

ZINC NACIONAL is seeking a HEAD OF COSTS responsible for validating, supervising, and carrying out the costing process for the different business units of ZINC NACIONAL, both for national and foreign companies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Engineering Degree, Public Accountant (CP).

Advanced Conversational English (Essential)

5+ years of experience in a similar position

Technical Experience:

• S4HANA and SAP ECC
• Knowledge of the Controlling (CO) Module, Product Costing (PC), ML Costs, and Profitability Analysis (PA)
• Knowledge in the Purchasing, Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and MM modules in SAP HANA related to Costs
• Knowledge in cost configurations
• Knowledge of different Manufacturing concepts (Discrete, Process, and Collector) and their costing.
• Knowledge of SAP databases and Queries Implementation of costs in S4HANA as a Key User or Consultant as applicable
• Inventories
• Knowledge in Inventory Operations (Receipts, Issues, Transfers, and Adjustments), EM/RF Excel Advanced Proficiency (Macros, Pivot Tables, Tables, Formulas, Lookups, Charts Microsoft Office
• Office 365, Power BI

Functions:

• Valuate the costing of all materials that represent inventory.
• Determine the production cost of national and foreign plants.
• Ensure and verify the monthly cost closing process.
• Supervise and conduct physical inventories monthly.
• Determine and validate cost recipes for the production of new materials.
• Provide cost and expense reports to different company departments for both materials sold and the cost of materials consumed from raw materials or inputs.
• Presentation of annexes and monthly plant costs to plant superintendents and managers.
• Daily review and analysis of cost deviations in production orders.
• Review and analysis of actual cost vs. standard cost elements.
• Review and analysis of Raw Material purchases, Other Materials that impact the update of Standard Cost.
• Analysis and Implementation in SAP of new production lines.
