## About the Role

In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Java applications based on Spring. You will be involved in the entire development cycle, from requirements analysis and technical solution definition to implementation, testing, code review, and production release.
We are looking for a person who writes clean code, understands software architecture principles, and can make reasoned technical decisions. For the Senior level, we also expect involvement in architecture definition, project estimation, and supporting less experienced colleagues.

## Responsibilities

- Development and maintenance of backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Design and implementation of REST APIs
- Participation in defining architecture and technical solutions
- Integration of applications with databases and external services
- Writing clean, testable, and maintainable code
- Development and maintenance of unit and integration tests
- Identification and resolution of performance and stability issues
- Active participation in code reviews and improving development standards
- Collaboration with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product management teams
- Task estimation and participation in sprint planning
- Documentation of technical solutions and developed APIs
- Investigation and resolution of incidents occurring in testing or production environments
- For the Senior level: technical mentoring and contribution to architectural decisions

## Technical Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of experience in software development with Java
- Solid practical experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot
- Knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security
- Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs
- Good knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID, and design patterns
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with JPA/Hibernate
- Experience with automated testing using JUnit, Mockito, or similar technologies
- Experience with Git and code review processes
- Understanding of microservice architectures and distributed systems
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- English language at conversational and technical level
