Peasy offers various comparison platforms, where in this role you will focus on energy and telecom. To support this growth, we are looking for a JAVA Software Engineer who will strengthen our technical team and build towards the future.

What will you do?

· Develop robust back-end solutions in Java with a focus on Spring Boot 3, Reactor/WebFlux

· Work according to the Agile Scrum methodology

· Collaborate with our Head of Product and other stakeholders in Belgium and Morocco

· Contribute to technical architecture and long-term vision

· Design technical solutions and translate them into concrete tasks

· Build and maintain web components in Angular, primarily to support back-end functionality

· Evaluate and refactor existing applications to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency

· You will report to our Head of Tech

Requirements

· You have at least 3 years of experience as a JAVA developer, preferably in an agile environment

· You have strong experience with Spring boot

· Knowledge of AI solutions is a plus

· You enjoy structure, but are flexible when needed

· You think strategically and build towards sustainable solutions

· You communicate fluently in English and have good knowledge of Dutch

· You are a team player, but also work independently

· You can recognize yourself in our core values such as customer-centricity and respect for each other

· You are willing to come to our office twice a week at Zaventem
