Quarkus Java Developers

Arηs Group, Part of Accenture, is seeking experienced Java developers for one of its clients in Brussels, a major player in the Belgian healthcare insurance sector.

Context

Within the investment project « Automation », two agile teams will be formed to realize the end-to-end digitalization and automation of administrative documents in the process of payouts. The candidates will cover the domain of replacement income and work on projects focused on digitalization and automation.

Rol & verantwoordelijkheden

Java Engineer Medior

• Analyzing integrations with other systems within the organization (infrastructure, other development teams…)
• Correct and qualitative implementation of « user stories » and « taken »
• Efficient communication with various stakeholders (team members, PO, architecture…)
• Actively participating in refinements and proposing relevant technical improvements
• Taking into account non-functional requirements (performance, user experience…)
• Collaborating with infrastructure for efficient deployment of applications
• Documenting developments and technical architecture of applications

Java Engineer Senior

• All responsibilities at the Medior level
• Supporting medior and junior colleagues (peer-programming, technical advice…)
• Contributing to an effective test strategy (CI/CD)
• Guiding the team towards the best technical choices and promoting good development and collaboration practices (code-review, peer-programming…)
