Java Fullstack Developer

Job Description:

• Contribute to the development and customization of web applications using Java-based frameworks like Spring or Spring boot.

• Expertise in developing and scaling Microservices

• Utilizing your experience in AWS services to help architect and implement features of a well-established cloud-based application.

• Consuming vendor APIs with knowledge of REST

• Design, implement, and maintain robust task scheduling and messaging systems (knowledge of frameworks like Apache Kafka or JMS is a plus).

• Integrating and optimizing the PostgreSQL database within the applications.

• Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by implementing best practices around software engineering

• architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.) for products / scalable applications

• Utilizing modern Code Quality Tools and participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

• As part of the Agile team, collaborating with Product Owner and fellow engineers to gain a deep understanding of business requirements and software implementation.

• Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

• Ability to quickly ramp up work, interpret sometimes vague requirements, and ask the right questions to solidify requirements.

• Ability to think outside of the box when providing solutions not only to the task at hand but to a wider feature for the product.
