Java Development

The Projektron GmbH develops and markets the web-based project management software Projektron BCS. To support our more than 820 customers across Europe and continuously develop our software, we rely on over 130 employees at five locations in Germany.

We are currently looking for a team member to join our Java development team at our headquarters in Berlin, either part-time or full-time.

Tasks

• Participation in one of the five excellent Scrum teams for further development of Projektron BCS
• Development of implementation concepts for extensions and changes in BCS
• Implementation of developed concepts into the system
• Contribution to error resolution within the team and support for preventing errors through high test coverage
• Support for second-level support in solving customer-specific wishes
• Support in configuring BCS and connecting external systems

Qualification

• Gut abgeschlossenes Informatik-Studium or an equivalent study from the MINT area

• Excellent programming knowledge in Java and/or TypeScript

• 2 years of professional experience in a similar field

• Knowledge in at least two of the following areas:

• Databases

• Automated testing

• Web services (preferably REST)

• Web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)

• Build tools like Jenkins, Gradle

• Domain Driven Design

• Good German language skills (C1 or higher)
