We are looking for a Java developer (m/w/d) for a long-term project that includes the development, migration, and further development of an internal administration software platform that handles policies, premiums, and claims processing.

Your tasks

• Participate in the development and further development of an internal administration software for insurance contracts, premiums, and claims.

• Participate in the decoupling and migration of system interfaces to a bookkeeping software system, where mainly database procedures in Java will be converted.

• Contribute to the development of functions and improvement of data transfer process between multiple locations.

• Conduct development tasks and improvements in connection with integration and binding internal systems to external systems via web services.

• Perform migration of system components, especially databases and Swing-based frontends.

• Improve the user experience and functionality of an existing Java Swing client application.

Must-Requirements

• In-depth knowledge in Java development, particularly with Spring Boot and Java Swing

• In-depth experience in Oracle database development and migration tasks.

• Knowledge in cloud platforms and container orchestration systems.

• Experience in Agile methods, including work in Scrum teams.

• Understanding of DevOps principles and practices, especially CI/CD pipelines.

May-Requirements

• Experience with cloud technologies like Azure and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge in test automation tools like Gherkin and Cucumber
