Java Developer (m/w/d) | Insurance

In the context of the nationwide Insurance initiative, experienced Java developers (m/w/d) are currently being sought for innovative digitalization projects for well-known insurance companies. As a full-blooded IT professional with passion for software development and experience in various technologies such as: Java, JEE, Spring, Docker or Kubernetes, you will find here the perfect environment for your personal and professional further development.

Tasks

• Responsibility for implementing medium- to long-term software projects in the backend context (Java, JEE, Spring etc.).
• Participation in the entire development cycle: requirements analysis, conception, design, development, implementation and quality assurance.
• Development of individual insurance software solutions (digital platforms, virtual insurance, member portals, supply apps, intermediary portals etc.).
• Participation in technology breakthroughs for well-known insurers in various projects.
• Bringing in know-how in special projects and prototype development to drive exciting new developments forward.

Qualification

• Degree in computer science or comparable training.
• At least 3 years of professional experience.
• Passion for software development, new ideas and technologies.
• Comprehensive practical experience in developing multi-layered IT architectures.
• Extensive experiences in the areas: Java, JEE or Spring.
• Knowledge in the areas: Cloud (AWS, Azure), Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
• Very good German and fun with agile working methods.
