Java Developer AI-Assisted Coding (w/m/d)

We at NOVACOM (a subsidiary of the LDB Group) develop leading KI-Voice- and Chatbots for the automotive industry. Since we build our own KI solutions, we want to use them consistently in our software development. Therefore, we are not looking for a "Syntax Guru", but a clever head who knows how to steer coding agents (such as Codex, Copilot or ChatGPT) to quickly and safely build high-quality applications.

Tasks

Your Tech-Stack (supported by AI at our company)

You will accompany the development of our systems. You will work with:

• Backend: Java, Tomcat, Apache, MySQL.
• Frontend-Basics: JavaScript, jQuery, CSS/SASS, Bootstrap.
• Tools: Eclipse, Subversion, WebServices – and of course your preferred AI coding assistants.

Qualification

This is your profile: AI-First instead of years of routine

• KI-Kompetenz: You master the use of KI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Codex, ChatGPT or Cursor) virtuosely to generate code, debug and optimize.
• Java-Verständnis: You don't have to be a senior developer, but you understand the logic of Java so well that you can review, assemble and implement the output from AI.
• Lernbereitschaft: You are eager to dive deep into our KI platform, which automates the customer journey for thousands of users.
• Sprache: You communicate safely in German (word and writing).
