Java Developer (m/w/d)

YOUR MISSION

As Java Developer (m/w/d) you will significantly contribute to the success of our developer team and be responsible for the following central tasks: 

• You implement backend components with Spring Boot, possibly also as part of a migration from Java EE.

• You develop and maintain web services (REST) and ensure stable interfaces.

• You perform unit tests and integration tests (e.g. with JUnit) to ensure high software quality.

• You integrate CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins), supporting build, test, and deployment processes.

• In the future, you will support containerization with Docker and application management.

THIS IS WHAT WE CARE ABOUT

• You bring about 5 years of fundamental experience with Java/JEE, Spring Boot, and REST web services.

• You have ideal experience with Kafka (at least 1 year) as well as CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins).

• You are familiar with relational databases (e.g. Oracle or Postgres) and have ideal experience with JBoss (application server).

• You work test-driven and use tools like JUnit and Mockito (also in the sense of TDD).

• You have basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.

• You have very good German language skills (C1 level) as well as conversational English skills.
