Annual Internship Event Management (m/f/d) 60-80%

Luya Foods was founded in 2021 with a clear mission: We want to move past the hype surrounding meat alternatives and create a new, independent category of plant-based alternatives - delicious, juicy, and naturally fermented. Why? Because we are convinced that we need to rethink our food system to shape our future sustainably.

To further grow our community and make Luya an experience in even more places, we are looking for motivated reinforcements in the area of Events as part of an Annual Internship - with the prospect of permanent employment, if it works out for both sides.

Tasks

• You plan and execute events throughout Switzerland - from supermarket promotions and cooking events to trade fair appearances

• You take on coordination and logistics from A to Z - planning, materials, briefings, and communication with partners, locations, and suppliers

• You are up close and personal at events - you represent Luya externally and get hands-on on the front lines

• You develop small concepts on how Luya should be experienced at events - and implement them directly

• You record learnings - you analyze events and develop recommendations for the future

• You create deployment and shift schedules for events and ensure fair team allocation

Qualifications

• You are nearing completion or are studying Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Design, or similar - initial experience in gastronomy, hospitality, or event management is a plus

• You are a talent for organization and enjoy getting hands-on at events and promotions - including on weekends and evenings

• You are mobile and willing to travel for events throughout Switzerland

• You are interested in sustainability, nutrition, and new food trends

• You have very good German and English skills (French is a plus)

• You are hands-on, uncomplicated, and solution-oriented, no matter where the fire is

• You are a curious and open personality who likes to think outside the box and seek creative solutions to challenges
