ITSM - Major Incident Manager

We are hiring a ITSM - Major Incident Manager Exp: 7 Notice Period: Immediate - 15 days Location : Bengaluru / Hyderabad Mode: Hybrid - 2 days onsite 3 days remote - ITSM - Major Incident Manager Major Incident and Incident Manager - Job Description Key Responsibilities: Major Incident Command - initiate and manage bridge calls to lead incident resolution as quickly as possible Provide status updates to leadership and customers on current IT issues and actions being taken Lead/participate in post-incident reviews to identify root cause and implement corrective actions Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including IT teams, business leaders, and customers Collaborate with IT teams to resolve incidents and minimize downtime Ensure compliance with ITSM processes and procedures Identify and escalate major incidents to leadership as required Manage and prioritize multiple incidents simultaneously Utilize ITSM tools and platforms to track and manage incidents Provide clear and concise communication to stakeholders on incident status and resolution Develop and maintain knowledge of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure to effectively manage incidents Key Requirements: Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and practices Experience with major incident management and incident management processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with ITSM tools and platforms such as ServiceNow, Cherwell, or BMC Remedy Certification in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) or equivalent experience is desirable
