IT Workplace Manager (m/w/d)

In this role, you will strategically and consultatively shape the digital workspace. You are responsible for conceiving, developing, and steering modern IT workspaces and media technical solutions.

We are currently looking for an IT Workplace Manager (m/w/d) for our renowned customer from the financial sector. Our customer offers you, besides a crisis-proof working place, a modern equipment as well as the possibility to work part-time remotely and significantly participate in exciting IT projects.

Tasks

  • Maintenance and further development of IT workspaces and installed software, so that everything runs stably, securely, and user-friendly
  • Monitoring of systems, applications, and hardware to ensure high availability and smooth processes
  • Coordination of external service providers and partners, including quality control and deadline management
  • Introduction and guidance of new tools, cloud solutions or collaboration software to optimize the digital workspace
  • Planning, setup, and maintenance of modern meeting and media technology
  • Participation in projects for further development of IT infrastructure and digital work environment
  • Management of software licenses, tools, and access rights
  • Safeguarding compliance, security, and data protection guidelines in the working environment

Qualification

  • Degree in IT or a related field or equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience
  • Multiple years of practice in IT workplace, client, or infrastructure environments
  • Fundamental understanding of central infrastructure services such as Active Directory or DNS
  • First-hand experience in projects – whether as part of the team or in a leading role
  • Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style
  • Independence, sense of responsibility, and communication strength
  • Negotiation-safe German and good English skills
