IT-Windows System Administrator (m/w/d)
Job description
As IT-System Administrator (m/w/d), you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure. You will manage Windows clients and servers, peripherals, and networks, administer Microsoft 365 and local Active Directory, and ensure the security and efficiency of the IT systems. With your experience in IT administration, structured work approach, and solution-oriented thinking, you will support users and coordinate external service providers to continuously develop the IT landscape. Tasks
- Ensuring a stable IT operation and processing and documenting IT requests
- Maintaining and developing the IT infrastructure (Windows clients, servers, peripherals)
- Installing, configuring, and administering hardware and software
- Error analysis and troubleshooting on-site and via remote (TeamViewer)
- Administering M365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Entra ID) and local Active Directory, as well as network management
- Coordinating external service providers and implementing data protection and security requirements
Qualification
- A successful IT vocational training or a completed degree in computer science, ideally with a focus on system integration, or a completed degree in informatics
- Multiple years of experience in the IT service, IT operations, or IT administration and in the areas of IP telephony (Starface) and next-generation firewalls (Sophos XGS)
- Broad, generalist IT knowledge about systems, applications, and infrastructure
- Good knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems (Windows Server 2016-2022) and small database applications
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Entra ID), as well as Active Directory
- Analytical thinking, structured work approach, and high solution competence
- Communication skills, team ability, reliability, engagement, and hands-on mentality
