The IT traineeship in The Hague in brief

Are you looking for a career in IT and do you live in (the vicinity of) The Hague? The IT traineeship at Goodzo is THE opportunity to start your IT career, regardless of your completed HBO or WO degree. We offer a paid traineeship where you gain relevant work experience immediately.

The IT traineeship is the first of the three phases in our IT Growth Program, with which you will develop into an IT consultant. After the IT traineeship, you will follow the Deep Dive and Next phases. During the traineeship, you will receive a permanent contract, personal guidance, and you will obtain more than 10 official certificates. Practically, this means a 40-hour work week. Additionally, we advise investing an average of 4 hours per week in self-study and certifications.

As a trainee, you will work for top-200 companies such as the Province of South Holland, BAM, Volker Wessels, Rabobank, and De Goudse.

What you will learn with us during the IT traineeship

Whether you already have some experience or not: the technology and tools we and our clients work with are constantly changing. That's why you will learn to thoroughly understand and master the technologies we use most. You will obtain certificates for, among others, Office 365, Azure, and Windows 10, get acquainted with data analysis, and delve into software development methods.

To work effectively in complex organizations, it is important to learn how to present your ideas. You will learn how to convey a message, how to communicate with colleagues and clients, and how to create excellent presentations. You will gain insight into how an organization functions, from the shop floor to management. Furthermore, you will learn to be proactive and manage your time efficiently.

You will learn specific processes and methods. Every organization has its own way of working. To understand this well, you will learn the hard and soft skills needed to become a fully-fledged consultant during the traineeship. For example, you will learn about Scrum, a work method with which you achieve results in short sprints and take quick steps to improve products.

What do you bring?

• HBO or WO thinking level (at least an HBO propedeuse in hand)
• You live in the Randstad or are willing to move to this area
• Willingness to travel within the Randstad (with a lease car), a B driver's license is required
• Excellent command of the Dutch language
• Availability for a full-time work week (40 hours)

You have little to no IT experience, but are determined to change this quickly by investing time and energy. You have a strong sense of responsibility and are focused on personal and collective growth.
