IT Technician Paradigm is the public utility institution responsible for the digitalization of the Brussels-Capital Region. As an IT Technician, you will work as a Paradigm employee at our partner, the OCMW of Ganshoren. Your contribution, your tasks: As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and configuration of hardware (computers, printers, scanners ...) and related software tools (operating systems, business applications and office applications). You provide support and also take care of the preventive and evolutionary maintenance of this equipment. Your main responsibilities are as follows: Installation & tests Perform initial installations of IT equipment; Perform updates; Test IT equipment to check if it is working correctly. Be responsible for the technical and operational management of telephony. Exploitation Perform a diagnosis and handle activity-related incidents (Desk or Technical Operations) on PCs, networks, servers, mailboxes and telephones. Perform backups, storage and archiving of data. Contribute to the thought exercise on the optimization of IT tools. Maintenance & support Follow the evolution of the equipment; Document the procedures related to the use of IT tools. Manage the e-mail system; Check whether the equipment meets all the conditions on the basis of the reference material; Monitor and manage the stock of IT supplies; Provide the received IT equipment with a label and enter the data in the CMDB; Support users who learn to work with equipment and software, so that those involved can handle the tools made available to them in the context of their work. Your experience and competencies: You have at least 1 year of experience in a similar position (junior profile desired): Mastery of OS Windows 11 and Windows Server; Knowledge of ITSM software tools and implementation software; Knowledge of networks (LAN, WAN, DNS, ...) and protocols (TCP/IP, ...); Familiar with the management and support of Microsoft server systems, Active Directory and GPO; Office applications (Microsoft 365); Installation of soft/hardware and/or peripherals; Management of IT park; Service Delivery.
