IT Team Leader (m/w/d) Infrastructure & Operations in Frankfurt

You will take over the professional and disciplinary leadership of a local IT team and be responsible for the stable, secure, and cost-effective operation of the IT infrastructure including the local data center. At the same time, you will drive digital transformation at the site and implement global IT strategies operationally.

• Leadership, development, and motivation of a local IT team
• Performance and capacity management
• Building a resilient IT organization

Betrieb & Infrastruktur

• Responsibility for server, network, and client infrastructure
• Ensuring availability, performance, and IT security
• Operation and further development of the local data center
• Emergency and backup strategies

Strategie & Transformation

• Implementation of global IT standards
• Migrating to cloud/hybrid environments
• Process optimization and automation

Projekt- & Providermanagement

• Steering local IT projects (time, budget, quality)
• Selecting and steering external service providers
• SLA controlling and contract management

Budgetverantwortung

• Planning and monitoring of the IT budget
• Cost optimization and investment planning

Qualifikation

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or comparable education

• 3+ years of IT experience and first leadership experience

• Fundamental knowledge in:

• Windows Server, AD, virtualization

• LAN/WAN, firewall, network design

• Backup and security strategies

• ITIL / IT service management

• Microsoft 365 / Azure (desirable)

• Experience in operating data center environments

• Budget and project responsibility

• Fluent German and English skills
