IT-Systemtechniker for a Data Center (w/m/d), Ref.Nr. 4216

We are looking for an IT-Systemtechniker for a data center (w/m/d) as of now.

Tasks

• Carrying out maintenance, repair, and support measures to ensure the smooth operation of the platform through a ticketing system.
• Analyzing, prioritizing, and quickly resolving disturbances and intervention requests.
• Configuring server hardware (iLO, iDRAC, TPM) as well as replacing and expanding components such as HDDs/SSDs, RAM, and mainboards.
• Carrying out FO- and RJ45-patchwork according to applicable standards.
• Installing, commissioning, decommissioning, and managing IT equipment in data center racks.
• Supporting and coordinating national and international stakeholders on site.
• Creating and maintaining maintenance documentation and operating procedures.
• Carrying out audits, inventories, and asset management for IT equipment.
• Maintaining data center management tools and creating regular activity reports.
• Deployment at various data center locations in the Berlin region.

Qualification

• Fundamental knowledge of diagnosing and repairing IT servers.
• Safe handling with ticketing systems and data center management tools (DCIM).
• Experience in operating and managing data center infrastructures.
• Structured and meticulous working style as well as excellent teamwork skills.
• Good English language skills in writing and speaking.
• ITIL certification is an advantage.
• Very secure German and English language skills

Type of contract: Fixed-term employment according to AÜG (possible takeover into direct fixed-term employment)

Location: Berlin

Start: asap

Duration: 18 months (with option for extension)
