VLAN configure, IP camera align, alarm system in operation – and all that on one day. As an IT-System Elektroniker at Stadtritter, IT network technology and security technology come together in a role that is technically more demanding than a typical help desk job. Stadtritter installs and operates IP-based security technology (alarm systems, video surveillance, access control) for private and commercial customers in Berlin/Brandenburg. All systems run through the company's own VdS-certified emergency call center. The technology team works with modern technology from leading manufacturers.

Tasks

• Installation and configuration of IP-based alarm systems and video surveillance systems

• Setting up and programming of access control systems

• Network technology: cabling, router configuration, VLAN setup at the customer's site

• Bringing the systems online to the company's own emergency call and service center

• Fault analysis and troubleshooting of existing systems

• Documentation of installed systems and network topologies

• Training customers in the operation of the systems

Qualification

This is what you should bring:

• Completed training as an IT-System Elektroniker, computer scientist or equivalent

• Knowledge of network technology (IP, VLAN, VPN, router/switch configuration)

• Handiness for assembly work

• Class B driver's license

• Independent and meticulous working style

No must, but a plus:

• Experience with security technology (alarm systems, video systems)

• Manufacturer certifications (e.g. Dahua, Hikvision, Ajax, Jablotron)

• Experience with VdS guidelines
