IT-System Administrator (m/w/d)

We are looking for an IT-System Administrator to join our team at our location in Passau. The position is full-time and permanent.

Tasks

• Maintenance, upkeep, and expansion of the IT infrastructure
• User support and consulting (3rd Level Support)
• Care for our company network and servers based on MS Windows and Linux
• Administration of VM environment (VMware ESXi)
• Helpdesk support for colleagues to ensure a smooth business operation
• Patch management and network monitoring
• Monitoring and implementation of the data backup concept
• Creation and maintenance of IT documentation

Qualification

• Completed training as a systems integrator or equivalent
• Professional experience in administering Windows- and Linux-based servers
• Knowledge in the field of virtualization (VMware / vSphere / vSAN and/or Proxmox VE)
• Knowledge of application server administration and knowledge of working with network components (routing / switching / firewall / VPN)
• Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Active Directory / Entra ID, Exchange Online, PowerShell)
• Experience in the field of DSGVO and ISO27001 is desirable
• Outstanding performance readiness, high sense of responsibility, strong communication skills, and very good organizational skills
