IT System Administrator (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Systems

• You will take responsibility for the administration, support, and continuous development of our entire IT infrastructure.
• The administration of our virtual server, host, and VMware environments is also part of your area of responsibility, as is the support of our network and firewall infrastructure based on Unifi, Aruba, and Fortigate.
• You will manage and monitor our backup structure with Veeam and ensure that our systems remain reliably secured and available.
• In addition, you will support our telephone system, mobile device management, and other central IT systems in everyday business.

Modern Workplace & Automation

• The administration of our Microsoft 365 environment, including Intune, Entra ID, device management, software management, and mail security, is also part of your responsibility.
• You will support our Active Directory environment, take over user management, and ensure that permissions and group policies are reliably maintained.
• Using PowerShell, Power Automate, and Power Apps, you will automate processes and contribute to making workflows more efficient and sustainable.
• Together with colleagues from different departments and within the IT team, you will develop practical solutions that simplify daily work and improve technical processes.

Support & Collaboration

• You will work closely with your team colleagues, contribute your own ideas, and support each other with various technical challenges and projects.
• You will handle 1st and 2nd level support for our employees, analyze IT issues, and ensure fast and understandable solutions.
• In doing so, you will help colleagues work safely and efficiently with hardware and software and provide support for technical questions.
• You will document relevant IT processes and assist with the introduction of new systems and applications.
• Furthermore, you will guide employees through changes in the digital work environment and support the establishment of new solutions in everyday life in an understandable and practical manner.

Qualifications

• You are interested in modern IT solutions and have already gained experience in system administration, infrastructure, or IT support – regardless of whether through vocational training, a degree, or a comparable professional path.
• You feel at home with topics such as Microsoft 365, networks, server environments, or endpoint management, and enjoy further developing technical solutions in a practical way.
• You work in a structured and independent manner, but at the same time, you value team exchange and reliably support colleagues in the daily work routine. You enjoy working with employees and know how to convey technical topics understandably, solution-oriented, and without complicated jargon.
• You maintain an overview even with multiple parallel tasks and approach challenges pragmatically and responsibly.
• Ideally, you already have experience with technologies such as VMware, Intune, Active Directory, Veeam, or PowerShell and are interested in further developing or automating existing processes.
• Teamwork, appreciation, enthusiasm, commitment, innovation, and sustainability are values that not only sound good to you but that you also consider important in daily interaction.
