IT-System Administrator (m/w/d)

The XIAO Group is a medium-sized, family-owned company in the real estate and gastronomy industries with headquarters in Gelsenkirchen and Leverkusen. Our real estate portfolio is continuously growing through the development of new projects and targeted acquisitions. It exclusively includes commercial properties in NRW that are used for multi-story office, fitness, and other commercial purposes.

Judging by our XIAO restaurants, we welcome around 2 million guests each year and achieve a turnover of approximately €60 million. Our 800 employees drive the expansion in the gastronomy industry with great passion and engagement. We have ambitious future plans and aim to continue the strong growth of the past three years by doubling our gastronomy turnover and realizing investments primarily in real estate worth €40 million over the next three years.

The foundation for this has already been laid – therefore, we are looking for a highly motivated IT-System Administrator (m/w/d) on a full-time or part-time basis to support us from the earliest possible time.

Your Tasks:

• You will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and further developing our existing IT infrastructure in gastronomic businesses and administrative locations.

• You will ensure the smooth operation of IT systems regarding security, availability, quality, and documentation.

• You will oversee the provision of all IT equipment from planning to installation to handover.

• You will perform optimizations and maintenance in the area of IT infrastructure and repair any errors that arise.

• You are responsible for our operating systems (Windows 10 and MacOS), user software, communication systems, notebooks, smartphones/tablets, hardware, and ensure their functionality.

• You will manage user accounts in various cloud-based IT systems.

• You will take over the administration and maintenance of MS365.

• Furthermore, you are an expert for developing and implementing business applications on the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

• You will ensure the stability of operational systems (cash register, payment, accounting, and order systems) and support in setting up and implementing them.

• You will train employees on technical systems and software solutions and serve as a support.

• You will support the specialist departments in IT support and in conceiving and implementing IT projects.

• You are the direct point of contact for technical inquiries from restaurants and may occasionally be present at our other locations.

• You have a completed education as an IT specialist for system administration, a completed degree in IT or a comparable qualification.

• You have already gained several years of experience in a similar position.

• You possess very good knowledge in the area of IT security and firewalls.

• Professionally, you possess very good knowledge in handling Microsoft/Windows server operating systems.

• You have comprehensive expertise in Microsoft 365, with a strong technical understanding basis for its various components as well as fundamental knowledge in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

• You are willing to adapt to new technologies and systems and integrate them effectively into the existing landscape.

• You take the initiative gladly and enjoy structured and analytical work.

• You are reliable, work well in a team, have good coordination and communication skills, as well as an excellent customer- and service-oriented approach.

• You participate in a regular on-call duty and are willing to occasionally travel to our other businesses when needed.

• Driver's license class B.
