You want to manage modern IT infrastructures and ensure stable Windows and Azure environments? In this role, you will analyze technical challenges, optimize systems, and contribute to a secure and reliable IT operation.

Our client is a leading grid operator in Germany that ensures a reliable electricity and gas supply. With a focus on digitalization, sustainability, and modern network infrastructure, the company actively shapes the energy supply of tomorrow.

Tasks

• You will manage and perform regular patch and maintenance tasks on the Windows infrastructure in Azure and On-Premise
• You will analyze emerging issues in IT operations independently, support error correction, and find suitable solutions – for example, through firewall analysis, performance investigations or network routing topics
• You will conduct performance tests and monitoring activities and implement resulting optimization measures
• You will contribute to the planning and implementation of backup and disaster recovery strategies
• You will support the conception and setup of an access control concept for administrative accesses in Azure and On-Premise

Qualification

• Completed training in IT (e.g. System Integration Specialist) or equivalent qualification
• Experience in administering Windows servers in Azure and On-Premise, as well as patch management, system maintenance, and monitoring
• Familiarity with analyzing issues (firewall, performance, routing) and knowledge of network, backup, and disaster recovery fundamentals
• Knowledge of access control and authorization concepts
• Fluent German and good English skills
• Structured, self-reliant work style with high problem-solving competence
