Tasks

• Planning, operation, and optimization of the IT infrastructure for 150 users
• Support of virtualized VMWare and Proxmox environments with Linux and Windows systems
• Management of the hybrid Active Directory/Entra ID environment
• Continuous optimization of Microsoft 365 services, especially Exchange Online and SharePoint
• Configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of firewalls and endpoint security
• Support for employees as part of user support
• Selection and procurement of hardware and software
• Installation, configuration, and support of various application software
• Administration, maintenance, and backup of database systems
• Coordination of external IT service providers and technology partners
• Participation in the further development and operation of the EGS-plan monitoring platform MonKey

Qualification

• Completed apprenticeship in IT system administration, a degree in computer science/business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Structured, solution-oriented, and independent way of working, flexibility in developing new areas of expertise.
• Reliability, responsible action, and a high degree of IT security awareness.
