Aufgaben

• Server, Network & Infrastructure
• You operate and monitor physical and virtual servers, network components, and peripheral devices.
• You ensure data availability, consistent backups, and up-to-date systems (including security updates).
• You analyze and troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools.

• You recognize network disruptions, document them, and set targeted measures to resolve them.
• You set up secure access, firewalls, and authentication rules.
• 🖨️ Periphery & Print Management
• You put printers and multifunction devices into operation, connect them to the network, and manage print drivers centrally.
• 👥 Active Directory
• You set up user accounts, manage rights, and troubleshoot issues in the directory service.
• You design and maintain authorization structures and regularly control access rights.
• 💻 HessenPC & Client Management
• You ensure the operation of current clients (including patch management, installation, and device replacement).
• You manage software, licenses, and set up workstations technically.
• 📱 HessenSmartphone
• You procure, configure, and monitor mobile devices and ensure their secure operation.

Qualifikation

• You know your way around server hardware, operating systems (e.g. Windows 11), and IT services.
• Active Directory, LDAP, networks, protocols, printers, and telephone systems are familiar to you.
• You have experience with diagnostic tools and software distribution systems like MECM.
• IT security is no foreign word for you – especially in the context of the Hessen IT Security Guidelines.
• You understand complex IT relationships and can integrate devices into existing systems.
• You are communicative, assertive, and have a sense for ergonomic workplace design.
• You analyze IT changes quickly and can convey them in a comprehensible manner.
• You know your way around different hardware types, databases, and licensing models for the HessenPC.
• You bring knowledge of iOS, Android, and business apps to the operation of the HessenSmartphone.
