IT-System Administrator (m/w/d) - System House / Microsoft 365 / Windows Server

We are a specialized IT system house from Bremerhaven and support medium-sized companies with about 3 to 60 employees.

Our focus is not on "something with IT", but on:

• stable IT infrastructures
• fast and clean problem-solving
• clearly structured systems instead of grown chaos environments

We work in a small team of three people with short decision-making paths and a lot of self-responsibility.

We are looking for an experienced system administrator/IT system technician who analyzes complex IT disruptions, reliably implements solutions, and operates systems stably.

Tasks

Typical tasks include:

• Analysis and solution of complex IT disruptions
• Maintenance and administration of Windows Server environments
• Management of Active Directory and user structures
• Operation of Terminal Server and RDS environments
• Administration of Microsoft 365 / Entra ID / Exchange Online
• Maintenance of networks, firewalls, and VPN connections
• Implementation of backup and security concepts
• Analysis of existing IT infrastructures at customer sites
• Technical implementation of IT projects and system migrations
• Documentation of systems and measures taken

Qualification

You should have experience in several of the following areas:

• Windows Server Administration
• Active Directory
• Microsoft 365 / Entra ID
• Terminal Server / Remote Desktop Services
• Networks (routing, VLAN, VPN)
• Virtualization (e.g. Hyper-V or VMware)
• Backup systems
• IT security fundamentals
• Error analysis and troubleshooting

What's most important is the ability to analyze problems structuredly and solve them sustainably.

You ideally bring:

• Vocational training as a computer scientist for system integration or comparable experience
• Several years of experience in system administration or in an IT system house
• Good knowledge of Windows Server environments
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and modern cloud services
• Understanding of networks and IT infrastructure
• Structured and independent work
• Clear and understandable communication with customers
• Driver's license class B for occasional customer meetings and on-site deployments
