On behalf of our partner company in Munich, we are looking for you as an "IT System Administrator (m/f/d)" for the earliest possible start date.

Tasks

• As an IT System Administrator (m/f/d), you will operate, maintain, and optimize Linux and Windows servers, as well as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• In addition, you will administer VMware vSphere environments, storage systems, and backup and disaster recovery solutions with Veeam.
• Furthermore, you will configure and monitor LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN infrastructures, as well as firewalls and network components.
• Additionally, you will ensure the availability and security of the IT infrastructure through monitoring, patch management, error analysis, and appropriate security measures.
• In doing so, you will improve and standardize IT processes, maintain technical documentation, and manage software licenses.

Qualifications

• The foundation is an completed apprenticeship as a specialist for system integration (m/f/d), IT system electronics technician (m/f/d), or a degree in computer science.
• Ideally, you have several years of professional experience as an IT System Administrator (m/f/d), System Administrator (m/f/d), or Network Administrator (m/f/d).
• You have sound practical experience with Linux and Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware vSphere, as well as storage and backup solutions.
• In addition, knowledge of network administration, firewalls, VPN, WLAN, as well as container and cloud technologies such as Kubernetes is desirable.
• Your structured and solution-oriented approach, initiative, and teamwork skills, as well as fluent German and English language skills, are important.
