IT-System Administrator (m/w/d)

Tasks

• Responsibility for the stable and secure operation of the IT infrastructure
• Planning, implementation, and maintenance of systems and networks
• Care of virtualization environments (e.g. VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V) and storage solutions (e.g. NetApp, Pure Storage)
• Administration of Windows- and Linux-servers as well as application- and database-servers (e.g. MS SQL)
• Management of IT security measures: system hardening, network protection, malware defense
• Monitoring and analysis of security-relevant events as well as preventive protective measures
• Collaboration with internal departments and external partners

Qualification

• Completed education or studies in the IT field
• Multiple years of professional experience as a system- or network administrator
• Very good knowledge in the areas of firewalls, networks, virtualization, and server management
• Good understanding of IT security, ideally experience with penetration tests or vulnerability analyses
• Analytical thinking, structured working method, and high problem-solving competence
• Team spirit, self-initiative, and strong communication skills
• Very good German language skills (at least C1)
