IT System Administrator (m/w/d) in Köln-Kalk

Aufgaben

• Administration of client- and server-operating systems (Windows and Linux), Proxmox PVE, Active Directory, and Exchange.
• Maintenance and further development of existing infrastructure (clusters, servers, network, firewall, antivirus protection).
• Implementation of backup & disaster recovery (e.g. BackupExec) as well as automation with PowerShell.
• Competent support for users in IT-related matters.
• Planning, procurement, installation, setup, and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Maintenance of our existing software, particularly the connections to MS SQL database and our own administrative software.

Qualifikation

• SUCCESSFUL completed training (e.g. for IT system integrator) and/or completed studies (e.g. computer science or economics), preferably with relevant professional experience.
• Multiple years of practical work experience in IT system administration.
• Experience in setting up and operating virtual server infrastructures, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and the corresponding hardware and software.
• Ausbildereignung according to AEVO or willingness to obtain it.
• Willingness to undergo a security test (SÜG2).
• Outstanding quality- and IT-security awareness.
• Conceptual skills combined with independent, solution-oriented working style and the ambition to get familiar with new topics (e.g. cloud computing).
• Fundamental knowledge of programming (VBA, C#, T-SQL).
