In 2017, Christoph Klahn founded the engineering office for intelligent building automation, IT, cloud, and communication technology in Kiel. In the IT department, we support small and medium-sized enterprises in the Kiel area.

To strengthen our small, motivated team, we are looking for a committed IT-System Administrator (m/w/d) who thinks ahead, takes action, and wants to take responsibility.

Tasks

• Administration and monitoring of IT systems, network infrastructure, and server landscapes for our customers
• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software
• Ensuring system availability and security
• Carrying out backup and restoration procedures
• Planning and implementing IT projects
• Error detection and correction as well as technical support in case of disruptions
• Documented system configurations and processes
• Supporting colleagues in internal IT matters

Qualification

• 2+ years of experience in system administration
• Certificate or equivalent in IT-Fachinformatiker (or comparable)
• In-depth knowledge in the areas of Windows-Server, network technologies, and virtualization (e.g. Proxmox, VMware)
• Experience with backup solutions
• Solution-oriented thinking and a self-reliant working style
• Good communication skills and teamwork ability
• Readiness for continuous further education
• Very good German language skills (at least C1)
