IT System Administrator (m/f/d)

Greiwing Truck & Trailer GmbH & Co. KG, a medium-sized, owner-managed company in its second generation, is looking for YOU as an IT System Administrator (m/f/d) full-time.

We are an independent commercial vehicle rental company based in Greven/Westphalia and are among the market leaders, particularly in the area of electric semi-trailer trucks and tank and silo vehicles. With around 900 units, we offer individual mobility and vehicle procurement solutions for transport logistics.

Tasks

Your Tasks

• You will support our employees with first- and second-level support and quickly find suitable solutions.
• You will set up PCs, notebooks, smartphones, and peripheral devices and reliably keep hardware and software running.
• You will manage users, access rights, and Microsoft environments such as Active Directory and Microsoft 365/Entra.
• You will manage and monitor our network, server, storage, and virtualization environment (ESXi).
• You will analyze malfunctions and errors and resolve them independently or together with external partners.
• You will actively participate in IT projects and the introduction of new technologies – for example, with a new telephone system or the further development of our ERP/DMS systems.
• You will keep IT systems, processes, and changes clearly documented.
• You will support us in continuously developing IT security, backup, and disaster recovery concepts.
• You will work closely with external IT service providers and software manufacturers.

Qualification

What you bring with you

• Completed apprenticeship as an IT Specialist (m/f/d) for System Integration or comparable qualification
• Several years of practical experience in IT system administration and user support
• Good knowledge of Microsoft environments (Active Directory, Microsoft 365/Entra) and network and virtualization technologies (LAN/WLAN/VPN, ESXi)
• Experience in the administration of hardware and software as well as server, storage, and workstation systems
• Experience in the implementation and support of IT projects as well as in dealing with external IT service providers
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, as well as strong service orientation
