IT-System Administrator (m/w/d)

We are looking for an IT-System Administrator (m/w/d) who has a desire for responsibility, design freedom, and a diverse range of tasks.

You would like not only to process tickets, but also to actively manage, optimize, and develop systems? In a small team with a lot of self-responsibility, you can expect a central role within the IT structure.

Aufgaben

• Acceptance, analysis, and coordination of customer and user requests, including introduction of suitable measures
• First- and second-level support for internal and external services
• Ticket-based processing of requests in a process-oriented manner
• Closely working with the internal IT department and participating in IT-related processes
• Administration, operation, and further development of Windows and Linux systems in virtual environments
• Ensuring availability, stability, and security of the IT infrastructure (e.g. Windows Server, Microsoft 365, networks, and applications)
• Maintenance of client infrastructure, storage systems, and telephone solutions
• Central system management including monitoring, security management, and backup/recovery
• Maintenance and further development of data exchange and integration solutions
• Installation, replacement, and commissioning of IT hardware
• Creation and maintenance of system and customer documentation
• Further development of the IT infrastructure with a focus on stability, security, and digitalization
• Participation in and independent takeover of IT projects

Qualifikation

• Vocational training or studies in the IT sector (degree not necessarily required)
• Multiple years of professional experience in IT system administration or IT support
• Very good knowledge of Windows operating systems and Office applications (e.g. Microsoft 365)
• Fundamental knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g. Hyper-V) and cluster systems
• Safe handling of administrative tools like Active Directory
• Good knowledge of network configuration and IT security
• Knowledge in Linux administration is an advantage
• First-hand experience with Veeam Backup & Replication is desirable
• A structured, team-oriented, and service-oriented working style
• Analytical thinking
• A driver's license class B
