IT-System Administrator - Infrastructure (m/w/d)

(unlimited, 35 hours a week)

As JUNG IT, we are responsible for IT infrastructure and IT security at all JUNG locations in Germany and worldwide. As part of our internationalization strategy, we plan and implement a future-proof, uniform IT infrastructure for the JUNG group. To support us, we are looking for an experienced IT infrastructure specialist/system administrator (m/w/d) who will take over responsibility with our team for operating and developing our system landscape - nationally and internationally.

Aufgaben

• Administration and further development of network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, firewalls)
• Operation and maintenance of physical and virtual servers (e.g. VMware vSphere, Proxmox VE) as well as central storage systems
• Management and care of the Microsoft- and Linux-server landscape
• Technical integration of locations and companies into our existing system landscape
• Management and monitoring of SSL/TLS certificates, internal PKI structures, automated extensions, and security monitoring as part of a central certificate management.
• Coordination, implementation, and documentation of IT security and backup concepts
• Support for the implementation of cloud and hybrid solutions (e.g. Microsoft Azure, SAP BTP)
• Collaboration with internal departments, subsidiaries, partners, and external IT service providers.
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization in ongoing operation
• Interface to building technology regarding UPS, standby power supply, and fire detection

Qualifikation

• Degree in (business) informatics, training as a computer scientist (m/w/d), or comparable qualification

• Multiple years of experience in administering complex IT infrastructures in industrial or production environments

• Fundamental knowledge in:

• Network administration (LAN/WAN/VPN, routing, firewall, VLAN)

• Virtualization (VMware, Proxmox)IT Security and Backup Systems

• Microsoft Server and Linux distributions

• Knowledge in SQL, Azure, Cloud or S/4HANA integrations is an advantage

• Good English skills in writing and speaking

• Structured, self-responsible working style with high technical precision

• Team orientation and willingness to occasional international business trips
