We are looking for you as an IT System Administrator (gn) for our location in Dettingen.

• Vollzeit with flexible working hours and partial home office

Aufgaben

• Service-oriented management of the Document-Management-Application infrastructure based on Linux and Windows as well as Oracle and MS-SQL databases in BizDevOps model
• Server monitoring and capacity management
• Server virtualization (VMware)
• Maintenance of production applications
• Analyzing disturbances and resolving faulty system states and processes (Incident- and Problem-Management 2nd/3rd-Level) for existing systems
• Developing solution proposals, documentation, and project submissions
• Project planning and implementation in the area of network and infrastructure at the location
• Creation of technical concept papers and decision-making bases for internal stakeholders
• Independent implementation, monitoring, and administration of Windows-, Linux-servers and virtualized server infrastructure in VMware ESXi environment
• Responsible for ensuring backup and disaster recovery processes

Qualifikation

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent professional qualification
• Three to five years of work experience in application support and server administration
• Good knowledge of Linux servers and Windows servers
• Knowledge of Oracle and SQL databases
• Practical experience in SAN/NAS storage management, server virtualization, and Citrix solutions
• Fundamental knowledge of a programming language is an advantage
• Excellent German and English skills to convey technical information
• Analytical thinking ability and the capacity to solve complex technical problems
• Knowledge of (WLAN-) networks, IT security or data protection
• Experience in working with and steering partners and service providers
• Ideal experience in dealing with ISO 27001, ITIL, or PCI
