IT-System Administrator / Fachinformatiker (m/w/d)

Our client is the central IT unit of a strong corporate group from the northern German region. The group consists of several medium-sized companies at numerous locations and employs around 1,000 employees.

A significant part of the companies is supported by a central IT infrastructure, including its own data center with hundreds of users. To strengthen the IT team, an engaged IT system administrator / Fachinformatiker is sought to reliably ensure and actively develop the operational IT operations.

Aufgaben

• Sicherstellung des stable operation and the further development of the central IT infrastructure based on Microsoft systems
• Installation, maintenance, and technical operation of applications in the data center
• Eigenständige Bearbeitung von support tickets
• Performance of error analyses and subsequent resolution of technical issues
• Taking over own IT tasks and participating in joint IT projects

Qualifikation

• Completed training in the IT sector

(e.g. Fachinformatiker Systemintegration, Systemelektroniker) or comparable qualification

• Professional experience in system and/or application administration
• Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Server operating systems (2016-2025) and virtualization (Hyper-V)
• Knowledge in at least one of the following areas:

1. Microsoft Exchange
2. Veeam Backup
3. Network technology (WAN, LAN, routing, firewall)
4. Citrix

• Self-directed, structured, and goal-oriented work style
