To further expand our digital infrastructure and make it future-proof, we are looking for reinforcement for our IT team at the headquarters in Berlin-Karlshorst.

IT System Administrator / Specialist in System Integration (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

Your tasks with us

In your daily work, you ensure that everything runs smoothly technically and that our systems remain secure, fast, and future-proof:

• Infrastructure Management: Planning, installation, and configuration of hardware – from servers and storage solutions (NAS) to client hardware.
• Network Design: Setup and support of LAN, WLAN, and VLAN networks, as well as secure handling of routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Virtualization & Cloud: Support of virtual environments (e.g., Hyper-V) and assistance with the migration and integration of cloud services.
• Security & Monitoring: Implementation of security concepts, system monitoring for anomalies, and protection through professional backup strategies.
• Automation: Creation of scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to increase the efficiency of routine tasks.
• Project Management & Consulting: Independent management of IT projects from cost-benefit analysis to successful implementation.

Qualifications

What you bring with you

You are a structured problem solver with an eye for detail and have the desire to get things done:

• Qualification: Completed vocational training as a specialist in system integration or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience.
• Support Experience: Routine in 1st to 3rd level support and a solution-oriented service mentality.
• Network Expertise: Confident handling of network services, VPN connections, firewall rules, and VoIP telephony.
• System Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11, macOS, and iOS.
• Organization & Procurement: Independent working style, team spirit, and experience in IT hardware procurement (requesting quotes & coordination).
• Communication: Ability to document and communicate complex technical issues in an understandable way.

The icing on the cake

• Experience with Google Workspace & Apple MDM (Jamf)
• Knowledge of Windows Server (2022/2025) & Linux
• Practical knowledge of IT security & data protection (GDPR, NIS2, KRITIS)
