IT System Administrator & Data Protection Coordinator (m/f/d)

Full-time | Location Würzburg | Partial Home Office Possible | Start: 01.01.2027

We are continuing to grow – and are looking for you as an IT System Administrator & Data Protection Coordinator (m/f/d) in full-time.

The position combines operational IT system administration (approx. 60%) with an active role in data protection and AI topics (approx. 40%). You will manage our systems, support employees in their daily work, and actively contribute your data protection expertise to the organization.

You will work closely with specialist departments, management, external service providers, and our data protection officer.

What you bring

  • Several years of experience in IT system administration or a comparable technical role
  • Practical experience in data protection coordination, including GDPR and AI Act
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially SharePoint Online, as well as central M365 services
  • Experience in access management and modern identity and access procedures (e.g., SSO, MFA)
  • Structured, self-reliant way of working combined with pragmatic solution orientation
  • Strong communication skills and the enjoyment of conveying technical and data protection-related topics understandably

These are your challenges

IT System Administration & Support

  • You will manage our Windows, macOS, and mobile work environments, as well as user, role, and access management
  • You will administer our M365 environment including SharePoint Online and take care of hardware, licenses, and inventory
  • First point of contact for employees with technical questions and coordinate external IT service providers

Data Protection Coordination

  • You are the internal contact person for data protection questions and assist with data protection incidents
  • You will be involved in data protection documentation, policies, technical and organizational measures (TOMs), etc.
  • Planning and supervision of data protection training within the company

Evaluation of New Applications & AI Solutions

  • You will evaluate new tools and digital processes from a technical and data protection perspective, with a particular focus on AI
  • Support in setting up our internal AI test system and developing guidelines for AI usage
